Binky & Boysie’s Blog Update

It has been a busy time since I became Station House Vets Young Ambassador. Here’s a few things Boysie and the rest of the gang and I have been up to.

At the beginning of March we went to Manor Grange Stud for some freestyle dressage we “danced” to the music of Lion King (which me and Boysie love!!) This gained us a goood score and 1st place! The day after it was to Holmside in Durham for the BD Combined Training qualifier, once again Boysie tried his little heart out and won the class having done a nice test and clear sj . This gained us a ticket to Champs!

The following weekend it was road trip time to Aston Le Walls in Northamptonshire for BRC Arena Eventing champs. Boysie and I were part of a team for Malton Riding club. My team mates all rode really well and our ponies all jumped fab for us to be placed team 3rd out of about 30 teams from all around the UK- boysie and I also picked up individual 6th!!

Later on that week Amelia from Station House Vets came and castrated Storm, our yearling, and vaccinated Boysie and took a poo sample for the worming program. I also recieved my super SHV jacket and saddle pad!

Then it was to Snainton for a training session with Charlotte Wilson . That weekend it was to Northallaton for the NSEA JWS where me and boysie parted company! (Whoops!!)

The weekend after it was to Port Royal for BD. Another successful BD trip out.

The 1st of April brought a new life to the world. Summer safely delivered ‘Skyes The Limit’ our little dun filly! Skye is very cute but also very sassy!

After not much sleep it was back to Port Royal for BRC Combined training qualifier 3rd after dressage meant we had to jump clear to be in with a chance!  Boysie jumped amazing with a clear round gaining us the win and another road trip to Aston Le Walls in May!

Amelia then came out to check Skye and Summer over and gave them both the thumbs up .

We also went to a super talk at Station House about lameness and treatments; Clare also showed us some horses legs and the tendons, it was really interesting, and the food was really yummy!!

Watch out for our next update!
