About the Team and The Practice
The three practice owners are all working mums who are proud to be vets and to have a job they genuinely love. In lovely rural surroundings, we are a 5-vet team with 5 nurses, 1 student nurse and and 5 client care team members. Amongst the team we have two vets who are certificate holders and our head nurse, an ECC certificate.
We have a lovely, broad and well-bonded client base of different characters and their wonderful pets and horses. We all enjoy being part of a local community providing excellent veterinary care with a good work life balance.
We have a passion for reducing our impact on the planet and are working toward bronze accreditation with investors in the environment. Team litter picking and other environmental initiatives take place on a regular basis.
Why we love it and think you would too!
We chose to buy the practice to keep it independent as we all love working here.
We appreciate the work life balance and family values of the workplace coupled with the clinical freedom and personal growth the practice allows.
We make the most of our area with team members involved in all aspects of life here; hacking, eventing and competing horses, Middleton Hunt, rugby, tennis, running, mountain biking, walking in the Moors and Dales, wild swimming and beach combing.
We have created a brilliant place to work offering a professional, friendly and compassionate service to our clients, we believe a happy and valued team offers the best in veterinary care and we strive hard to maintain this.
With great access to cultural aspects of York & Leeds city life within 30-60 minutes, we really do have it all!
