Repeat written prescriptions – please complete all sections of the form below including the details of the online pharmacy you wish us to submit the form to. We cannot process your written prescription request without the form fully completed. Once the written prescription is complete, it will be sent directly your nominated online pharmacy. To view our pricing on written prescriptions visit our Pricing page.

You can read the full guidelines on online pharmacy fulfilment just below the form.

Repeat prescription checks need to be done regularly, so we may call you and ask you to book a consult with one of our vets before we can dispense the repeat medication.

NB: Please contact the practice if you think your pet needs a medication they are not already receiving regularly, as you may need an appointment before we can prescribe it for you. Or you can book a vet appointment online here.

Online Pharmacy & Written Prescriptions

To avoid prescription fraud, we have an obligation to comply with the VMD/RCVS guidelines around written prescriptions submitted to online pharmacies. The guidance is that all written prescriptions should be emailed directly from the veterinary practice to the clients nominated pharmacy only.

It is illegal for any person to submit a written prescription to a retailer on more than one occasion where the prescription is not repeatable. In England, Wales and Scotland, this is a specific offence under the VMRs and in Northern Ireland it would faull under the Fraud Act 2006.
