For any travels with your pet we recommend the following:

  • Check Pet-Friendly Destinations: Not all places welcome pets. Look for pet-friendly accommodations, restaurants, and attractions.
  • Visit the Vet: Ensure your pet is healthy and up to date on vaccinations and that you have enough medication to last, if your pet is on regular medication. Ask about travel-related concerns like motion sickness or parasite prevention.
  • Microchip & ID Tags: Make sure your pet has a microchip and wears a collar with an ID tag that includes your contact info.
  • Travel Documents: If you’re going abroad, check if your pet needs a pet passport, health certificate, or specific vaccinations (like rabies).
